Product Description
TRIUMPH & DISASTER DICHOTOMY EYE SERUM
Norwegian kelp, Persian Silk and Gotu Kola help Dichotomy to reduce sagging skin and dark circles caused by dehydration, stress and not enough sleep.
DICHOTOMY EYE SERUM
Dichotomy Eye Serum is our happy collision of two historic foes. In the blue corner: Nature. Wild, untethered nature stacked with the supernatural benefits of Norwegian Kelp, Swamp Maple, Horopito, St Paul’s Wort and Persian Silk Tree. Apart, they are tremendous. Colliding together, they are the future.
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dichotomy optimizes hydrous flow and moderates water circulation, reducing unnecessary puffiness caused by modern lifestyle excesses.
Dichotomy supports collagen production, provides tensile support to blood vessels and improves skin elasticity. Crucial to maintaining healthy skin around the sensitive areas of the eyes.
Dichotomy promotes the synthesis of essential lipids and proteins essential to healthy, youthful looking skin. Attacks crow’s feet by boosting elasticity and improving firmness of the sensitive skin around the eyes.
THE GOOD STUFF – KEY INGREDIENTS IN DICHOTOMY EYE SERUM
NORWEGIAN KELP
Predominantly found in the North Atlantic Ocean (near Norway). Traditionally used for its nutritive and skin soothing properties. Being rich in minerals like Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and Iodine, it’s awesome for hydration and is anti inflammatory when applied on the skin as a firming, restoring and strengthening agent.
PERSIAN SILK
Persian Silk tree bark is an awesome and effective organic extract that is really expensive. Seriously it is one of the most expensive skincare ingredients doing the rounds due in a large part to its proven effect on soft skin, most noticeable on sagging eyelids. Persian Silk tree extract genuinely appears to slow the skins’ aging process, like a veritable spring of eternal youth.
GOTU KOLA
Great source of phytonutrients, rich in saponins. Great for collagen and improves circulation & delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the scalp. Perfect for serums, eye creams and beauty oils. It can also be consumed as a tea or taken for supplemental use.
KEY INGREDIENTS CONTINUED…
SWAMP MAPLE BARK EXTRACT
Maple bark extract is a naturally occurring active ingredient with clinically proven pro-collagen and pro-elastin properties. Swamp Maple stimulates dermal regeneration by increasing collagen production while inhibiting collagen enzyme synthesis that degrades collagen with age. Clinical studies reveal the complete and long-term efficacy of this polyphenolic extract with measured wrinkle amplitude reduction as well as visible effects expressed with before and after documentation of use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Feels great-didn’t realize it was for “men”
I picked up this eye cream because I just ran out, but also because I really enjoyed the name of this product. It’s packaged well and seems fairly premium. The serum is a sort of grey color, fairly thick but spreadable and absorbs quickly and easily into the skin. You really need very little too.I was using this for a week or so and realized that it’s “for men” which really doesn’t bother me, but am curious the difference in the needs for men/women in this space. I do have more eye creams to try and decided to pass this onto my husband who’s sort of impartial to trying it. He’s pretty basic in his skincare routine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Impressive ingredients
I’m not a man but wanted to try out this eye serum designed for men after reading the impressive list of natural ingredients such as Norwegian kelp and Persian silk tree bark. The eye serum feels very nice and absorbs into my under eyes area providing immediate moisture. I have sensitive skin but didn’t have any issues with this serum. I used this after a night out where I had around 3 hours of sleep and it plumped up my skin and made me look less tired. I took off one star because the pump is a bit hard to press and then it over dispenses the serum. At $70 for .5 fl Oz this is pricey but I do like the results so far.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice except for the price
This serum comes in a small bottle with a pump. The serum is an off-light liquid that is absorbed quickly by my skin. It does not feel greasy. I love that it is practically unscented, so I can use it at night (scents keep me awake). The only negative, frankly, is the high price.Ali Julia reviewReview of Triumph & Disaster Dichotomy Eye Serum

4.0 out of 5 stars Moisturizes ok
This product does an ok job moisturizing. It has a pump style bottle which I prefer over the droppers. The serum is like a not to thick lotion. The thing that I’m not trilled about the smell. It certainly isn’t highly scented. T doesn’t smell toxic. It doesn’t smell herbal. It just has a smell. It’s not awful, it just isn’t nice. This is a really pricey bottle for $69.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Miraculous but a Beneficial Serum
I have been using this for about 3 weeks and consider it a beneficial serum. I like that it includes several natural ingredients. It isn’t an overnight miracle but does subtlely soften lines and lessen dark circles. It is not a cheap serum, but I think it is worth a try if you are looking for a healthy face serum that seems overall very good and trustworthy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the cap, no irritations.
I have sensitive dry skin and I had no issues using this product. It felt silky and didn’t leave me feeling oily. The cap is neat and prevents it from accidentally pumping out product say, when traveling. One thing to note, I had to run the pump a VERY long time initially to get it to work, I was about to call it defective when it finally worked.

4.0 out of 5 stars Smooth, nice bottle
This is a great quality serum that goes on smooth and absorbs well. I will say, I don’t have crows feet but I think products like this can make great preventatives. I definitely feel positive effectives like a nice hydrated, bouncy feel in my eye area. Not sure the price tag is quite justified compared to similar products, but it’s definitely a top quality eye serum.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice smoothe finish, not the best dispenser though
Pumps on these sometimes are a pain. The stuff inside is nice though. Smoothe silky finish. The style is really cool and the product overall is quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight eye serum
The Triumph & Disaster Dichotomy Eye Serum is a lightweight gel cream serum that absorbs quickly. It sits nicely under concealer and doesn’t pill if you decide to layer a heavier eye cream on top.

5.0 out of 5 stars Joy Of Mainly Beauty!!
This ultra supple eye serum is the perfect way to truly pamper the sign of youth and vitality back into the areas around my eyes! The tiredness that I’ve earned, and the dark circles too, have lost their desires to taunt and steal the tenderness of youth from my face. Even the puffiness of my features have deflated in their hasty retreat. I feel spoiled each time I apply this onto my face, and the end results are awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality eye serum for late nights or early mornings
The T&D Eye serum has a slightly earthy smell that is very close to the Gameface skin moisturizer. It is a subtle smell and the scent quickly fades. It takes several minutes for the serum to soak into the skin but after several minutes it does not feel greasy of heavy. It seems to help with some of the puffiness around the eyes after a late night or not enough sleep. The bottle came with the right volume. The only this that would be nice to see is a smaller portion from a pump. a 1/2 pump volume seems like it would be a better amount, especially given the cost, so it doesn’t feel like it’s being wasted. Overall happy with the serum and will continue to use it. Over time I hope to notice a difference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great eye serum for men!Fi
First all what a great brand name, love it! I purchased this serum for my husband who has started to get some crows feet around his eyes. He reports that it is nice and light and quickly absorbed, but more importantly he saw quick results from using this morning and evening. A definite improvement in the wrinkles and helped combat puffiness in AM as well. He wasn’t really eager to try what he calls “beauty products” but once noticed the difference it was making he got on board. He looks way less “tired” now.

I work long, late hours… so I’m always deprived of sleep. This stuff really wakes up your eyes and makes you feel more alert. A little goes a long way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice creamy serum
This serum is creamy and kind of thick (but not too thick). It feels nice when you apply it and doesn’t irritate the delicate eye area. I would recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Crows feet and Puffiness under control!
I’m a 45 year old Male, and I get a lot of sun. Adding this eye serum on top of my other skin care has been the cherry on top. I seriously keep getting comments even from strangers finding it strange that I obviously look sunned but have a very smooth face. Friends have said my eyes look way more blue for some reason…it’s because I don’t have the intense crow lines I used to have. Compared to other products, this has been the most effective by far!

4.0 out of 5 stars On the fence
I think i have gone too far into the wrinkly camp, because this isn’t doing anything for my crow’s feet, and wrinkles. It’s my own fault – i partied hard, and i smoked too, during my 20’s and 30’s and i did not make any effort at skincare. I didn’t even taking my make up off before rolling into bed.During my 40’s i settled down, got married, became a good girl, and made paltry, half-hearted efforts at skincare, occasionally dabbing some moisturizer on here and there, when i remembered, but i certainly didn’t have what anyone would call “a good skincare routine”In my 50’s, faced with the effects of my hard living, I’m panicking at the ravages caused by time, drinking, smoking, tanning, and all that jazz. Not much can fix this face i swear – maybe a facelift. But i try, I keep trying, hoping one day, a miracle will happen with one of these products.Anyway, to the interestingly named Triumph and Disaster Dichotomy Eye Serum which said it was for men, and though I’m not one, the packaging, and name called to me.It s a small, brown glass, pump bottle, dispensing actually more than enough of this thickish serum. I’m use to serums being more thin and watery. This is a little thicker. One pump seems excessive, and i can spread that not only around my eyes, but also the deep set wrinkles around my upper lip – i feel like they need additional help.Whilst it does an admirable job of moisturizing these craggy areas, it’s really not affecting the depth of the wrinkles, though the puffiness seems less. The skin does feel good though. I like the texture and smell of the serum. I like that it comes in a brown glass bottle to reduce the effects of light which could affect the active ingredients. Maybe a longer time with the product is called for, to see effects on my wrinkles, but possibly, it’s too little too late.

3.0 out of 5 stars It’s OK, but only came 1/2 full at best & it’s NOT cheap, at ALL!
For $69, at the time of this review, you’d expect a full bottle of serum, but nope.. not here! I got a bottle that was 1/2 full.. WHY? I don’t feel like the cost justifies the product, in full.I DO think the serum is a very good one, I cannot lie about that, but the value just isn’t there for us. I’ve tried equally good products at 1/2 the cost. That being said, it does rejuvenate the under eye area, and refreshes tired, worn out eyes. Why just for men though 🤷♀️? Are we really that different, as far as skin goes? That I don’t get.Me and my hubby do like the serum, but it’s just very expensive to get such little product. It’s between 2.5 & 2.75 stars from us. Had it been a full jar and/or a lower price, this would obviously be a higher-rated review. That’s the best I can give, under the circumstances. I DO like the brand though. It’s a quality company, but this one product just fell a bit short.⭐️⭐️ + 1/2-3/4**I hope my review has been helpful 😊!**

5.0 out of 5 stars Smoother Eye Area
The Triumph & Disaster Dichotomy Eye Serum came well packaged in a box and pump dispenser. It’s a rich lightly scented luxurious cream. It pampers my eye area with its soothing moisture. It soaks in and leaves my skin looking fresh and hydrated. It also helps diminish fine lines. It’s hard to tell if it fades dark circles. Maybe after extensive use I will see a difference. For now, I’m enjoying this effective non-irritating serum and apply it every morning to help me look my best.Made in New Zealand~ Kort

…buttah….I was trying to come up with what the texture of this reminds me of and it finally came to me.On a warm day, if you leave a stick of butter out, it sort of softens and gets melty (yes it *is* a word…).Don’t get the wrong idea though; it’s not greasy like butter, but it is rich and slippery. This has a nice creamy texture, though not a cream, but, as described a serum. As shown on the product page, this comes in a pump bottle (glass). For me, only about 1/2 of a pump is quite enough.I’ve been using a high end eye cream from a famous Japanese brand since my mid ’20’s (and that’s a long time). As a Vine reviewer and a product junkie, I get to try and review many products. So far, only one eye product has been compelling enough for me to consider my Japanese brand to have an equal. In a very short time, that product gave an appearance of plumping and less wrinkles; I was pretty surprised. While this is a nice, luxurious feeling product, made with what sound like great ingredients, the brand of apparent quality and reputation, for me, it is not compelling enough to switch from my old faithful.A half ounce of that brand is $54.00; a half ounce of this $69.00.That brand is a cream; this, a serum.Old habits die hard I guess. What I will say is, if you want to scare away the appearance of years, use a good product (like this) and the sooner, and more consistent, the better.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice hydrating lotion, slight anti-inflamatory
I have three Triumph and Disaster products in hand today. This product, the eye serum, the shave creme and the face moisturizer. The branding on this stuff is very attractive. Nice work! All three products I’ve ordered have the same scent. The scent is mild and herbal in nature. The hydrating creme is rather thick for a serum. The glass bottle includes a pump intended to help dispense the small dose needed for a daily treatment. In my case, the pump was not able to dispense the serum. For me, that’s fine, I’m happy to open the bottle. The serum itself has the consistency of lotion. It is hydrating and I find that it has a mild anti-inflammatory effect that lasts for a few hours. It does help smooth the skin around my eyes. In short, it works.I cannot offer any opinion about the ingredients or long-term efficacy of this product, but it is pleasant and it seems to work as advertised.I hope this review helps!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful!!!
I have tried a lot of different eye serums and this one is spectacular! It is quite expensive, but totally worth the money. You only need one little squirt, so the bottle actually lasts quite a while. It is a perfect consistency and I have noticed a big difference in the fine lines around my eyes and between my eyebrows in a very short amount of time.I love the smell too. It is a light, delicate, masculine scent and is from real essential oils and herbal extracts. This is a wonderful healing balm for the eyes. Very unique and effective and I love that is comes from New Zealand!

4.0 out of 5 stars An effective moisturizer
I’m quite impressed with this eye serum. It comes from a New Zealand company that has several other beauty/facial products I’ve been lucky enough to try. The pump bottle dispenses a tiny dab on your finger that is the perfect amount to dab under the eye and on the crow’s feet. It absorbed quickly and leaves no tacky residue. I can’t tell you that after only a few uses I now have eyes like Mila Kunis but I can say it’s a good nighttime moisturizer.I must share part of the ad copy from the company’s website – Straight from Kiwi Land – what fun they are: “Dichotomy Eye Serum is our happy collision of two historic foes. In the blue corner: Nature. Wild, untethered nature stacked with the supernatural benefits of Norwegian Kelp, Swamp Maple, Horopito, St Paul’s Wort and Persian Silk Tree. The red corner: Science, brandishing clinical evidence and proven efficacy like a killer dance move. Apart, they are tremendous. Colliding together, they are the future. Dichotomy is now”

4.0 out of 5 stars Actually works on fine lines, but pricey and awful dispenser
This eye serum is actually highly effective at reducing the appearance of crows feet and dark circles. Although I am a 30 year old woman and this product is advertised for men, I found it reduced my crows feet lines surprisingly quickly with twice daily use. The lines around the outermost edges of my eyes have become much less deep and, when I smile, the wrinkles don’t stick around as long. I might start putting it on smile lines around my mouth to see if it works there too! My main issues with the product are its bottle and the price for the amount of product. The dispenser of this bottle is AWFUL. You only need around half a pump of this serum to cover both undereyes, and the dispenser is so difficult to press down only partially. Given the high price of this product, I would expect it to have a better bottle design. The bottle is also really tiny, and has very little product in it. So while this serum is quite effective, I am not sure I would consider repurchasing given its cost.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well, no irritation
I’ve been using this for more than a month and it has done a great job of keeping my eye area moisturized without any irritation. I love that it comes in a pump because then the product stays sanitary inside. And the pump works really well and only dispenses the amount that you need, which is just a tiny drop. I like that you can really control the amount because then you don’t waste any. It is a white cream that isn’t too thick but isn’t thin enough to drip. It absorbs well and is easy to lightly dab or rub into your delicate eye area. I’ve been using it day and night and the skin under my eyes is soft and stays moisturized all day and night. I haven’t seen any noticeable improvements, but that takes time. I’m just happy it keeps that area of my face looking and feeling good.
