Loved what this did for my hair.
The product does best using small sections as there isn’t that much room in the bristles to thread a lot through at once. I love what it did for my hair. I would give it a 5 star but did not because the temperature adjustments are right where you wrap your hand around and I found that the temp was on full heat even though I set it at mid heat. My fingers would hit the buttons without me even knowing. The highest temp is way too hot for my thin fine hair so I had to keep checking the temp and turning it down.The item itself never got hot to where I was touching so no need for the glove that came with it. I felt save putting it close to my scalp while using. No more straightener burns on my skin.

Love it!
I got sucked into buying this after seeing videos on social media, which is usually a big mistake, but I’m so glad I did! I can’t believe how soft and silky my hair is after straightening. Works 1000x better than my standard hair straightener, which always leaves my hair looking like a board. The Tymo actually gives a little body to my straightener hair. It does pull my hair a little bit if I’m not careful, but not too bad. I would recommend this to everyone!

Este producto es bueno, te quita el curly bien desde la raiz pero no te deja el pelo estilizado es mas para la raiz al final hay que pasar plancha al ser un peine no sostiene las puntas al final, mi pelo es curly lo seco y luego lo pase pero te queda como un blower mal pasado, quizas pasando un buen blower antes estaria bien o unos rolos bien secos y solo te quitas la Onda de la raiz, ojo, esta bien pero no te deja las puntas bonitas

I kept seeing reviews on Facebook but I’m always hesitant to buy anything on Facebook so I went here to Amazon to see if it was available and I purchased it and even after the first use I will never use anything different!!! I don’t tend to blow dry my hair so it’s got a lot of curve a lot of wave frizziness that happens has it air dries overnight especially here in Florida but using this it’s straightened my hair but it wasn’t straight flat look. It actually gave me a nice look as if I went to the salon and had them professionally blow dry it and it holds all day long it doesn’t frizz back up it doesn’t take the moisture out of my hair as it straightens it it leaves it actually a lot softer than a flat iron does. With a normal flat iron I would usually have to put some type of thermosilk in my hair I don’t need to do that I don’t need to add anything to my hair. And it’s quick I can get up in the morning and do this within 5-10 minutes my hair is done. My only regret is that I didn’t purchase it sooner!!

I rarely write reviews. I only do when a product is great or terrible. I’m this case, the Tymo Ring is amazing!!! I have naturally wavy hair when air dried. With the Tymo Ring, I did this in less than 20 minutes on my wavy hair. SO much better than a flat iron. Do not hesitate to buy this!!

I’ve only used this once so far but worked great. It was a little bigger than expected but is nice. Isn’t too difficult to use. I would have liked to have more directions on how to use it. For instance would be nice to hair different hairstyle and how to use the item to achieve hairstyle. I would recommend this product.

Novel, but tricky to use on thick hair
This product works, first and foremost, but not really any better than a normal flat iron. I found it hard to get my hair to go in the brush; it’s not like a normal hairbrush or comb at all. The comb teeth are internally curved to better hold the hair, but for me that just makes it harder to get the section into the brush. I do get a nice curl at the bottom of my hair, though.This is a nice tool, I think, for finishing after a blow dry. I say this because more than one pass makes your hair too hot to touch, and that’s not even on the highest setting. They include a heat-resistant glove because of the intense heat. So I use this mostly to do one pass to knock down frizz after a blow dry.You can’t beat the price, so I give it more than an average rating. Give it a try and see if it works better for you.

Hey Curly Gurlz!!! If you are like me and are looking for a straightener that is easy to use, then look no further. This is the second time I’ve straighten my hair in the past 4 years. The first time was 2 years ago at a salon and this is the first time using the Tymo, therefore my hair isn’t trained. This is great for someone that doesn’t have time to go to the salon and would like a quick change. I have very thick curly hair. The last picture I posted isn’t styled of course. Buy it today, you will not regret it.

Fantastic…easy to use!
I have naturally curly hair that frizzes when dried. This is the easiest straightener ever since it doesn’t just flatten the hair & the comb design makes it simple! Took a 45-60 min process down to about 20 min! WONDERFUL!

Gets the Job Done!
I bought this because my old straighter just wasn’t cutting it and I was noticing a lot of kinks in the back of my head from my ponytail. This is easy to use and gets right up to the root. It is a great tool if you get kinks or dents from having your hair up. Knocked a star off for a few reasons– its gets SUPER HOT (don’t believe the ads that say you can touch it), your hair needs to be thoroughly brushed through or it will tug it out and the cord is short. Worth it if you can grab it for under $50.

Literally the best straightener I’ve ever purchased…
There’s always going to be mixed reviews about anything & everything but in all honesty I was actually scared this straightener was not going to work for me because I have such thick & curly hair. But nope, it turned out to be great!! I bought the Argan oil heat resistant spray as well that goes a long with it & it smells so good. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments about my hair since. And normally it takes me at least 1.5 hrs to do my hair but ever since I’ve been using the TYMO it only takes me about 30 min! Saves me so much time. I love it.. and I got it in pink too! So cute.

Amazing hair straightener!!
I will never go back to a regular hair straighter after buying this product! I was a bit skeptical at first because I found out about this item from tik tok but I tried it on my hair and it works like a charm. I have hair extensions and it takes a long time to style my hair but this helps speed up the process, plus it makes my hair feel smooth. I also feel like the brush smells like blueberries lol so it make it more enjoyable. I would 100% recommended this product espically if you’re someone who straightens your hair often.

Updated!! Not for thin fine hair
So my review of the straightening comb did not change as far as it not being for thin, fine, hair. I have changed my review from 2 to 5 stars. All, due to their customer service!!! When the company learned of my last review they reached out to me. First they offered tips on how to use the comb, which made no difference on how it worked (everyone’s hair texture is different, so I understood it’s not for everyone.) With this still not working, they didn’t just leave me high and dry. They are now sending me their standard straightener! They didn’t have to, I understand not every product works for everyone. I am absolutely dumbfounded that there are still companies out there that stand behind their products, and truly care about their customers! THANK YOU TYMO!I was SO excited to receive this item. Have used it multiple times and always end up using my old original straightener. I have watched many videos to make sure I wasn’t using it wrong. Was hoping I was using it wrong. My hair is very fine and thin and this was hard to get it completely straight, therefore having to use my old one. I was very disappointed because this is the first item for my hair that I paid for the more expensive product. I guess I will save up and buy me a new straightener. Wasn’t worth the money

Great for those who can’t use a flat ironer XD
Ohmygosh, where has this been my whole life?! Straightening my hair has never been easier! I kid you not, this is a godsend. I’ve owned an expensive flat ironer for years, but im too scared to ever use it XDI have so much thick curly hair on my head, it’s like I have enough hair for three people and STILL have enough for myself! Using a traditional flat ironer would easily take over two hours, even with a professional hair stylist. Now, it takes less than 1 hour! And I’m not scared to accidentally burn myself anymore because of the anti-scald design.Results seem to vary, but I think it depends on what products you use in your hair, how slow you go, and environmental humidity. My hair has never been this straight and shiny.The only downside I’ve had with this is that it’s really hard to clean off any product between the teeth. There’s no way to separate the teeth from the grill, so you either have to use a q-tip or a really thin brush to get in there and clean.

So… I have at least 10 straightening tools
In my home. All for me trying to SAVE MONEY in getting repeated silk presses. This straightens like the salon, or when the Egyptians do it. My hair is 2b, is very thick and long. I blow dry with the Dyson and the Tymo takes about 30-45 mins. It used to 1:15 with the other tools like the Chi or other ceramic flat irons.Quick plug: I still use my Laila Ali Gold n Hot hair curling iron from 12 years ago for curls. It has survived the test of constant use and time.

I purchased this based on a social media ad that I saw, and thought it would be perfect because I always straighten my hair and it looked like a convenient way to do so. My hair is mostly wavy, with some heavier waves underneath. I found myself having to go over the same spot multiple times to get those heavier kinks out. My hair looked a little more frizzy too after I finished and the straightening effect did not last long compared to a flat iron method. My fiance uses a straightener sometimes to style his hair and I let him use this to see what he said. He was not impressed, at all. Love the idea, but I will stick to a flat iron.

Wasn’t a perfect fit for me but I loved the product
After reading reviews and watching all the social media feeds about this product I was sold that this was for me. I’ve been looking for an alternative to the flat iron. So first, it calls itself a comb – not exactly, not sure how to describe it but you need to hold your hair at the ends to make sure it goes through/into this ‘comb’. My hair is just above my shoulders so not short and not med and I have a lot of hair (been doing an undercut for over 20 years) and it’s wavy. Ok so there you have the back story.Pros: Good heat, no product needed, nice design and not too heavy (I have Arthritis)Cons: For me, it would be better if hair is longer and the biggest thing for me was it made my hair fuller than I wanted. It was like I had a blow out; that’s why I use a flat iron. Which btw I had to use after this lolI can’t fault this product, I can only say how it did for my hair type. I can see how it would work on others and for that I say it’s a good product, unfortunately not for me.

Here is my honest review.
I was easily influenced to buy this and now that I’ve used it a few times, here’s my take.PROS:- Cut down my straightening time. I have a lot of hair so this took me about 30 minutes to do my whole head instead of 45-60- Feels nice in the hand. I think the shape and method is easier to use than a standard flatiron- Does it’s job. My hair stays straight as long as it does with a standard flatironCONS:- Hair gets caught in the grooves often. It’s pulled quite a few strands of hair out or torn them.- Product says it’ll have some steam coming off the product for the first few uses and not to be alarmed. It says it’s not burning anything but it smells like it’s burning my hair. To be determined later I guess.- Easy to bump the power button. I’ve accidentally turned it off 2-3 times every time I’ve used it and didn’t notice at first.Overall, I’m still using it and don’t think it’s a bad buy.
